As board certified in foot surgery, Dr. Haspel always looks first for conservative solutions to foot and ankle problems. There are circumstances, however, when conservative treatment fails to alleviate painful conditions. Only then is surgical intervention considered necessary.
Once the decision for surgical intervention has been made, patients are escorted through the entire process from the point of evaluation, pre-operative management, the surgical procedure and the post-operative course of care.
Dr. Haspel offers both in office minor procedures, as well as outpatient complex procedures. He performs surgery at St. Mary’s Hospital of Passaic and the Center for Special Surgery in Hawthorne. The goal of every procedure performed is to restore patients back to their normal activities of daily living as early as possible.
